Our Award-winning Experience Tours will be the highlight of your holiday. We specialise in private tours; whether you are a solo traveler or a group of up to seven, your tour will be just for you. We offer single or multi-day standard or customised tours in Cornwall, as well as customised South West England tours that can include transfers to and from London or elsewhere.

We pride ourselves on offering our guests a unique insight into Cornwall and South West England’s famous “must see” sites, hidden gems, history, culture and stunning beauty.

Our tours outside of Cornwall, which include Wiltshire, The Cotswolds, Jurassic Coast, Bath, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall are multiple-day tours which we will customise and create especially for you. These are for a minimum of four days.

For Cornwall, our home, we have created 8 unique day tours drawing on our local knowledge. We offer 2 standard single day tours in each region, North, East, South, and West for you to choose from and get the most out of your time here. We can also create more personalised versions of any of our offerings.

Our private Cornwall tours also give you the opportunity to walk part of the South-West Coast Path, renowned for being one of the most spectacular coastal trails in the country. Visit UNESCO World Heritage sites, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and Special Sites of Scientific Interest.

If you have more time, join us for a 5-day deluxe package which include attraction fees and lunches. These trips have been lovingly curated for a truly unique experience, featuring river cruises, award-winning wine tastings and wildlife experiences.

It is with great pride that we also offer our custom handcrafted tours. With this option we will work with you to tailor a tour/trip to your specific requirements. Simply tell us your interests, destinations, wish lists and time frames, and we do the rest. This might include historical Houses, famous landmarks, subtropical gardens, literary greats, local craftspeople or local food and beverage delights. All our South-West Tours will be created from here.

Would you like to discover your Cornish ancestors? We will help you trace your ancestry through our local genealogy resources, then tailor a tour which allows you to walk in their footsteps. Perhaps visit the church where your great-grandparents were, or walk through the villages where they grew up, while hearing what it was like to live in Cornwall at that time.

For your convenience, we can pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation anywhere in Cornwall, or from all major airports and cruise terminals.

Your Guides

Hi, I’m Louise, founder of ‘Experience Cornwall Tours’ and have lived in Cornwall since I was 5 years old. My parents dreamed of living by the Cornish coast, testing the idea on their young children by taking us on annual caravan holidays. I cannot thank them enough for taking the plunge and relocating their entire life to Cornwall.

Growing up by the sea was inspirational and had a huge influence on my life. I was a RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institute) beach lifeguard on Perranporth beach for 7 years and competed for Cornwall and England in Surf Life Saving international competitions. I held the British Surfing Longboard Champion title, a title I am very proud to have achieved. You could say I am a bit of a water baby!

My career for the last 25 years has been in local tourism and hospitality. I have a real passion for people and unique places. To share this beautiful and charismatic county is not only a genuine pleasure but a privilege as well. I hope to welcome you soon and deliver to you the best experience Cornwall has to offer.

Hi, I’m Brett, the other half of the wonderful Louise!

Having been hidden behind the scenes of Experience Cornwall Tours, I am now very excited to be able to join Louise as part of our growing business.

As a keen traveler and adventurer, both above and under the sea, I have had the pleasure of experiencing many different countries, peoples and cultures, and that passion still flourishes today.

My career has revolved around the hospitality and tourism industry. Having been a Country House Hotel and Bar/Restaurant owner, I have thrived on delivering the best possible customer experience and service. I have, at the same time, been actively involved in our local community both in business and welfare.

I now have the perfect and best job I could ask for. With genuine enthusiasm for travelling, people, history and of course delightful local cuisine, I would love to share some of the region’s culture and the wondrous gems on our South West and Cornish shores.

Our Vehicles

We want you to be driven in Safety and Comfort, so our tour vehicles are top spec.

Louise drives the iconic VW Shuttle, which is synonymous with Cornwall and its surfing culture. You will see so many of these on our roads, many of them being converted into campers. It’s all about lifestyle in Cornwall, and this vehicle fits right in!

It has plenty of space for up to 7 passengers and ample boot space, with leatherette seats, privacy blinds, and air conditioning for your comfort.

Brett drives a luxury Mercedes V Class, which carries up to 7 passengers. With a panoramic roof, automatic sliding doors and reclining leather seats, your journey to and around Cornwall will be in pure comfort and luxury. All Transfers and South West Tours will be conducted from this vehicle.

Louise and Brett are IAM and ROSPA advanced driver trained. Achieving the top rating gold standard, ensuring you are in qualified and safe hands.
