The Walking Cornwall Tour
Book your Hand-Crafted Day TourCornwall has 297 miles of South West Coast Path to explore. Its undulating trails are looked after by the National Trust and other charitable organisations, passing through a string of quaint thatched fishing villages, working harbours, sandy beaches, Peninsulas of outstanding natural beauty, grassy sand dunes, estuaries, giant granite outcrops, and 200 meter high cliffs.
Inland you will find numerous woodland walks, meandering streams, waterfalls, and an open moorland which has been unspoiled for decades, where wild ponies graze.
All these different environments encourage a variety of birdlife, fauna and flora, including the Cornish Chough, a red-billed and footed bird that appears on the Cornish coat of arms. It went extinct in the mid-20th Century but these birds have now been re-introduced and are thriving.
If it’s a spiritual experience you’re after, we can walk the St Michael’s Way, a Pilgrimage which stretches all the way from the North Coast to the South Coast. It’s the only footpath in Britain that is part of a designated European Culture Route.
