By booking a tour with Experience Cornwall Tours, directly or through our website, you agree to have read, understood, and fully accept all terms of services listed below. These also apply to bookings made through third-party services.

Services

All our guided tours are conducted by English speaking guides. The private tours and transfers are provided by certified advanced drivers. The vehicles are correctly insured and licenced by the local authority. Our vehicles are maintained, and relevant safety checks are made before each departure to ensure safe travel.

Booking Process

Bookings can be made via our website, by telephone or by contacting us by email [email protected]

Your booking is not confirmed until we have issued your booking confirmation. At that point a binding contract will be entered into between us. A booking confirmation will be issued once we have received full payment from you.

Pricing

Accommodation is NOT included in ANY of our tours. Admission fees, meals and drinks are not included in the tour price unless expressively stated in the tour description. We do provide complimentary water on-board our vehicles.

Payments

Full payment is required for all tour packages at the time of booking. Confirmation will be forwarded by email confirming the full amount paid, booking number and tour information.

Method of payment

Payment may be made to Experience Cornwall Tours by debit or credit card through our secure online booking system. Zettle, though PayPal excepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Maestro and Visa Electron.

Changes by You

If you wish to change any parts of your confirmed booking, you should inform us in writing as soon as possible. This should be done by the lead passenger named on the booking. Whilst we will do our best to assist you, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet your request. Where we are unable to meet your change request and you no longer wish to travel on the basis of the original booking, this will be treated as a cancellation of your booking and cancellation charges will be payable by you, as outlined below.

Changes by Us

Experience Cornwall Tours will do everything reasonably possible to provide your tour itinerary as planned. The company reserves the right to alter tour itineraries due to weather, availability of attractions or other circumstances. The guide reserves the right to change the size and type of vehicle operating on our tours.

Cancellation and Refunds

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by the lead passengers’ names on the initial booking. We do not accept cancellations by phone, text message or a 3rd party.

  • If you cancel at least 30 days in advance of the scheduled departure time and date, there is a 20% cancellation fee for guided services.
  • If you cancel within 30 days and 48 hours a 40% cancellation fee will apply.
  • If you can cancel within 48 hours a 100% cancelation fee applied.
  • If you have purchased a Deluxe 5-day tour, which includes entry tickets into sites or ferry tickets in the price, the price of these tickets will be deducted from the refund given. Attraction tickets and ferry tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances.

We strongly recommend you have full travel insurance in place for your trip.

Weather Condition

Tours take place in all weather conditions, rain, wind, or shine. If a tour is cancelled by your guide due to extreme weather conditions, deeming it unsafe, a full refund will be given. Please bring appropriate clothing and footwear for wet weather. As conditions may change throughout the day.

Safety

Please follow instructions and utilise discretion during the tour – you are responsible for your own safety during the tour. If a guest uses threatening behaviour, actions or language, the tour will end immediately, and a refund will not be provided. Abuse against staff, other guests or members of the public will not be tolerated.

No Smoking Policy

We do not permit smoking in any of our vehicles.

Promotional photography

Experience Cornwall Tours offers the service for a bespoke photo book to be created as a souvenir. We reserve the right to take photographs throughout the duration of the tour. We may also ask your permission to use an image for marketing purposes. Anyone who prefers that their image is not taken and used publicly should identify them selves to the guide at the beginning of the tour.

Personal Responsibility

You are responsible for purchasing the style of tour that fits your desired comfort level and participate in activities that are suitable for your fitness level and capabilities. By making a booking, you acknowledge that Experience Cornwall Tours are adventurous by nature and may involve strenuous walking to some attractions. You are responsible for your own belongings when in and out of the vehicle. It is the responsibility of all guests to ensure they have the necessary insurance to cover for personal loss or damage.

Please ensure that you wear suitable footwear and clothing during the course of the day.

Force Majeure

In case of an extraordinary event, (such as but not limited to natural disaster, terror attack) and the tour is cancelled, it is possible to reschedule your tour. Refunds may be available on a case by case basis but are not guaranteed. If a tour guide cannot be present, you will be informed as far in advance as possible and offered a full refund or alternative tour dates.

COVID 19

We have taken every precaution possible to risk the spread of infection.
Our tours are Private, and so when in the vehicle you will only be in contact with your friends and family and your guide. Where convenient the guide will wear a face mark (i.e. when in the vehicle).

Hand sanitiser is available in all our vehicles and our leatherette seats mean we can disinfect after every tour. When we are visiting sites and attractions, we will adhere to any social distancing guidelines.
