Tour Agenda
-
Padstow
A bustling harbour town full of independent shops and quirky cafes and home to four of Rick Stein’s eateries. Explore its narrow streets, watch the boats bob in the harbour and look over the estuary to Rock, a popular village for second homeowners.
-
Daymer Bay
We find ourselves on the opposite side of the estuary at Daymer Bay. Before walking a short section of the South West Coast Path to reach the world-renowned surfing destination of Polzeath, we visit a 12th-century church nestled in the sand dunes where a famous Cornish poet is laid to rest.
-
Polzeath
Polzeath is a popular surfing beach and also has an active Surf Life Saving Club. The World Surf Life Saving nationals have been held here on numerous occasions, where you will see lifeguard fit athletes compete in their chosen discipline.
-
Port Isaac
Lunch Spot
Enjoy a spot of lunch at this ever-famous fishing village. Not only is it the filming location for the popular television series, Doc Martin but it is also the origin of the singing group Fisherman’s Friends featured in the 2019 film of the same name.
-
Tintagel Castle
This legendary ruin dates back to the 5th Century but its fame derives from its status as a Seat for Kings and the place of the conception of King Arthur. We can climb the headland, see the artifacts, visit Merlin’s cave and walk over the new slate suspension bridge. Here we can enjoy our Cornish Cream Tea Picnic.
